A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Band 6 case loading midwife to deliver personalised antenatal and postnatal care to women facing challenges. The role emphasizes building relationships with stakeholders, advocating for equality, and contributing to service improvements as part of maternity transformation efforts. As a Band 6 case loading midwife, you will deliver personalised care. Characteristics of your caseload include asylum‑seeking, teenage pregnancies, drug and alcohol misuse, significant safeguarding concerns and those in prison. Your opportunities will include implementation of the maternity disadvantage tool, further development of local agreed policy and guidance and demonstrable impact on the well‑being of the community through audit. You will build close working relationships with key stakeholders and specialists, including the MDT, Social Care for Adults and Children, Safeguarding Leads and other key services. This is an opportunity for a midwife with a passion for equality and advocacy. With effective communication skills and an organised professional, you will be dedicated to service development and improvement, through student support, MDT working and knowledge sharing. In return you will be a pivotal driver in an ambitious 3 year plan.
