A local government authority is seeking a Community Help Officer to work remotely and travel across East Suffolk. The role involves using data to identify financially vulnerable individuals and designing campaigns to connect them with support services. East Suffolk Council is recruiting a Community Help Officer for Early Intervention. The role is based remotely with travel across the district and will utilise the Low Income Family Tracker (LIFT) software and other local data sources to identify residents in financial need and design campaigns to engage eligible households with relevant support, including through the Community Help Hub.
Role type: Fixed term for 24 months. Hours: 37 per week. Location: Remote with travel across East Suffolk. Salary: £28,598 to £31,022 per annum, Band 4.
Additional information: Roles will primarily be remote but may require travel across the district for face-to-face services and client support over the phone or via digital platforms. A full driving licence and access to a car are essential.
