A community support organisation is seeking an Energy Advisor to provide outreach sessions and practical advice to households in the Selby and Goole areas. This home-based role requires excellent communication skills and experience in community work, helping vulnerable households save on energy bills. The position offers flexibility in hours and a salary of £27,334 (pro rata).

You will be supporting households to save money on their energy and water bills through 1-2-1 advice and by attending community outreach events. The role will be home-based but will involve some travelling to community venues in and around the Selby & Goole areas.
Salary: £27,334 (pro rata)
Hours: 15 hours per week (Mon to Fri, 9am to 5pm). There is flexibility in terms of when the hours can be worked during the week and there will be an expectation that they are adjusted in line with community groups/events etc
Contract type: Fixed term contract (end date: 31st March 2026)
Location: Home-based positions with some travel required in and around the Selby and Goole areas
