Are you passionate about empowering communities and making a real difference in people’s lives? Brent Council is looking for a dynamic and motivated Community Development and Engagement Officer to join our Housing Community Engagement team.
In this exciting role, you’ll lead and support a wide range of community engagement and consultation initiatives across one of London’s most diverse boroughs. From organising Brent Housing Events to promoting resident participation through theour platforms and visiting resident associations assisting them in the community, hosting panels, consultations and mystery shopping you’ll be at the heart of shaping how we connect with our communities.

We are looking for someone with proven experience in community engagement, outreach, or public consultation. You will have the ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends and strong organisational and communication skills. You will also be a collaborative team player with a passion for diversity and inclusion and be confident in using digital tools and platforms like Microsoft Office and MS Teams.
