Working as part of the Dermatology multidisciplinary team at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, the post holder will be involved in ensuring that patients, relatives and staff have access to expert support and advice when presenting with psoriasis, eczema, acne and other skin conditions.
With support from the multidisciplinary team, work towards becoming an autonomous clinical expert in assessing, planning and implementing and evaluating treatments ensuring that any information and treatment provided is current and evidence based.
The post holder will act as the patient\'s advocate supporting and advising the patient and other members of the Dermatology team.
The post holder will contribute to nursing policy and clinical service development within the Dermatology service undertaking audit when required.

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients\' homes.
