A charitable food redistribution organization is seeking a Community Coordinator to manage the Community Food Membership program. Together, we take good quality surplus food from right across the food industry and get it to approximately 8,500 frontline charities and community groups. As a Community Coordinator for FareShare, your primary responsibility will be to manage and sustain the Community Food Membership (CFM) programme. Your goal will be to build and maximize relationships with our partner. To excel in this role, you must be an exceptional communicator with an approachable nature, capable of securing, developing, and maintaining relationships whilst raising awareness of FareShare Merseyside and North Wales (FSM&NW) across the region.
The Community Coordinator will require a full clean driving licence, have access to a vehicle and be competent and confident traveling independently as they will be traveling across our region, Wirral, Knowsley, Sefton, Halton, Cheshire East, Liverpool and North Wales.
As a Community Coordinator it is vital to ensuring the success and sustainability of the FareShare’s CFM’s, fostering, strong, supportive relationships with our charity partners making a positive impact.
This role requires close collaboration with the Regional Manager, the Finance team, and Head Office. The Community Coordinator is expected to meet recruitment and retention targets, produce comprehensive reports, and ensure all requirements of funders are met.
Salary: £23,620 - £24,329
