A leading consulting firm is seeking a Communications Workstream Lead to oversee a comprehensive communication strategy for a dynamic programme in the financial services sector. This hybrid role based in Manchester requires strong communication skills, stakeholder management experience, and the ability to produce high-quality content. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project communications and the capability to deliver clear messaging to both internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the programmes communication plan.
  • Manage all external communications including public messaging, press materials, and partner updates.
  • Produce internal communications such as briefings, updates, and newsletters.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Create high-quality written and digital content.
  • Identify communication risks and manage approvals governance and compliance.
  • Provide regular reporting to programme leadership.

Role: Communications Workstream Lead

Location: Hybrid Role 2-4 days per week in East London or Manchester onsite the rest remote

Start: ASAP likely early 2026

Duration: 6 months initially plus likely extension (inside IR35)

Communications Workstream Lead

Lead and coordinate all communications for the programme ensuring clear consistent and timely messaging to internal and external stakeholders.
