Job description

We are seeking to appoint a part-time Communications Officer (.8 FTE, 29 hours per week), beginning in February 2026. Reporting to the Head of Communications, this varied role will involve managing internal communications, contributing to the College website and social media channels, coordinating a high volume of enquiries, and liaising with external media suppliers.

The successful candidate will have work experience in communications or a related area, as well as a track record of providing high-quality administrative support in a fast-paced environment. The postholder must have a strong working knowledge of using social media platforms in a professional context and advanced photography/videography skills. Excellent communication and IT skills are also key, as well as the ability to manage a busy workload.

Salary will be £28,000 per annum (based on FTE £35,000 p.a.)

It is expected that the postholder will be College-based.
