Senior Communications Manager (6+ months contract) 3 days a week
Location: Remote / Occasional travel to London
Start: ASAP
Rate: £550 Outside IR35
Contract: 6 months, strong likelihood of extension
About the Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Communications Lead to join a growing, ambitious mid-sized organisation during an exciting period of development and change.

Responsibilities
  • Write and deliver clear, engaging internal communications to support change and transformation activity across the group.
  • Work closely with Project Teams to communicate project updates, timelines, and impacts to employees.
  • Translate agreed project and change messages into plain-English communications that are easy to understand.
  • Support the sequencing and timing of communications so messages land clearly and consistently.
  • Help ensure internal communications across different projects feel joined-up and aligned.
  • Adapt content for different audiences and tones of voice, following existing brand and messaging guidelines.
  • Support the use of core messages and narratives, updating content as messaging evolves.
  • Assist with the preparation of communications for different internal channels (e.g. emails, intranet updates, presentations).
  • Liaise with marketing, brand, or PR teams when required to ensure alignment.
  • Track feedback and questions from employees and support updates to communications as needed.
  • Manage multiple pieces of work at the same time while meeting agreed deadlines.
