Responsibilities
- Write various promotional content, ranging from news and events to feature content.
- Generate multiple creative design concepts to arrive at the best end product as dictated by the project medium.
- Design graphical elements and prepare images for the website and other electronic outlets, including manipulating stock photography.
- Create graphic collateral for print mediums such as newsletters and other recruitment/retention collateral.
- Ensure website and design elements meet all University brand standards.
- Perform website maintenance, including photo updates, content updates,ỳ gap analysis, and subsequent content development.
- Review the website for dated material and work with content providers to add or delete content.
- Manage and maintain a digital photo library.
- Take photos as needed.
- Maintain the web calendar by posting campus events via the appropriate system.
- Coordinate production of multimedia including slideshows, maps,pag… and video clips.
- Oversee social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) and work with content providers to create an ongoing calendar for posts, posting content accordingly.
- Produce analytic reports and charts on web traffic, social media traffic, QR‑code, and email results.
- Provide support to the marketing department for web‑development needs related to implementation of marketing/recruitment campaigns, such as specific landing pages and QR‑code generation.
- May supervise students as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field, or one year of additional experience may beුරු substituted for each year of the education requirement.
- Three months experience with Content Management Systems, website maintenance and support, Microsoft applications, and web‑based communications and design.
Knowledge Of
- Content Management Systems and web‑based communications and design.

- Grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary.
- Social media platforms.
Skill In
- Creating graphical elements; graphic design for print and electronic mediums.
- Utilizing a digital camera.
- Basic HTML.
- Using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat Professional.
- Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and other applicable software.
- Organizing information and projects.
- Adhering to deadlines.
Ability To
- Provide leadership to others.
- Develop a coordinated workflow or timeline to manage multiple projects.
- Build relationships with external and internal constituents.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Multi‑task while managing multiple projects and assignments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in higher education.
