This is a key role supporting the councils economic ambitions by delivering high-quality marketing and communications that promote our commercial assets, town centres, and cultural venues.

  • Creating engaging content—from press releases and social media posts to video and photography.
  • Managing websites, e-newsletters, and social media accounts to grow audiences and drive engagement.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, local businesses, and media to amplify Wyres offer.
  • Attending events to provide live coverage and promotional support.

  • Flexi time and the option to work remotely part of the week as agreed with your line manager.
  • Generous annual leave allowance. A minimum of 24 days (pro rata) in addition to all bank holidays, rising to 26 days after four years and 29 days after five years local government service.
  • Future development face to face and virtual courses in line with your developmental goals.
  • Employee wellbeing support.
  • Free parking on site.
