A boutique hotel group in Edinburgh is looking for a Commis Chef to join their kitchen team. The role involves cooking fresh meals for guests and developing culinary skills in a supportive environment. This is a permanent position with excellent pay and various employee benefits, including discounts and funded apprenticeships.
About the Location: Opened 2019, 72 bedrooms, 80-seater Bar & Grill, 1 private event space - seats up to 12. Nestled on St Andrews Square, in the heart of the New Town in the city centre, just a stone’s throw from Princes Street and a 10-minute walk from the Old Town. The design of the hotel took inspiration from nearby Rose and Thistle Streets to create a lavish garden of texture, light and style. Edinburgh is Scotland's compact, hilly capital. It has a medieval Old Town and elegant Georgian New Town with gardens and neoclassical buildings. Arthur’s Seat is an imposing peak in Holyrood Park with sweeping views, and Calton Hill is topped with monuments and memorials.

We also offer tailored menus for any Meetings or Events that may be taking place in the hotel so no two days will be the same. Alongside the training that Malmaison provides we also offer Apprenticeships for Commis Chef and Chef De Partie's, you could be working towards a Production Chef Level 2 or 3 qualification.
