Overview

ROLE: Commercial Vehicle Technician

LOCATION: Heathrow

SALARY: 45k basic - 60k ote + benefits

HOURS: 40 hours - Monday to Friday with Saturday morning rota (1 in 3 mornings paid at 1.5)

We are currently looking for a Light Commercial Vehicle Technician / Van Technician / LCV Technician / LCV Mechanic / Light Commercial Vehicle Mechanic to join our client's workshop in West London.

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs, servicing and maintaining modern and varied vehicles, including cars, vans, and other light commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Performing major and minor repairs to vans
• Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services
• Maintaining inventory in the workshop and cleanliness from oil spills and dust
• Working with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles
• Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired, using relevant documentation
• Completing relevant documentation and paperwork as required and providing warranty claims or escalating them to higher management
• Carry out wheel alignment and tyre fitting
• Complete customer documentation while working to agreed time scales

Requirements

• Brand accreditation in diagnostics
• Level 3 qualification desired, however, we will consider time served applications over 5 years with proven experience
• Several years\' experience of working on light commercial vehicles
• UK driving licence essential
