The Renewables and The Energy Transition divisions of a FTSE 100 energy business are seeking Solicitors and Senior Solicitors to support on cutting-edge projects.

These are exciting opportunities to develop legal skills in a high-profile and rapidly evolving sector supporting the transition towards net zero.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing legal advice and support to senior stakeholders on commercial and corporate matters, including contracts, M&A, JVs, and transactional support
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements on complex projects
  • Supporting tendering opportunities
  • Advising on legal and regulatory obligations and contributing to governance and regulatory processes
  • Understanding strategic priorities and assisting in their delivery
  • Building and maintaining good business relationships
  • Depending on seniority, managing junior lawyers and external counsel

We are looking for:

  • Qualified lawyers in Scotland, England and Wales, or Ireland
  • Training with a reputable law firm or in-house, preferably with energy or utilities sector experience
  • Confident solicitors with Commercial and/or Corporate law experience
  • Experience working on complex projects, ideally in energy projects
