A well‑established and respected law firm in Littlehampton is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Lawyer to join their thriving team. This is a key hire for the department, and the firm is looking for someone who can hit the ground running and work closely with the Head of Department on a varied and high‑quality caseload.

The Role

You will handle a broad range of commercial property matters, including:

  • Buying and selling commercial property
  • Commercial finance and secured lending transactions
  • Site acquisitions and disposals, including plot sales
  • Drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial leases (granting and renewing)
  • Working on land promotion agreements and option agreements
  • Managing your own caseload while providing exceptional service to a diverse client base
  • Supporting the Head of Department on complex and strategic matters

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Solid, hands‑on experience in commercial property law
  • The confidence to work independently and hit the ground running
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and client‑handling skills
  • A proactive, commercial mindset and the ability to build strong client relationships
