Commercial Property Solicitor/Legal Executive – Peterborough 4 years+ PQE

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000

Location: Peterborough

Firm: Multi office regional firm

Experience: 4+ PQE

Oculus Legal Group is currently working with a well-regarded Multi-Office Regional law firm looking to expand its Commercial Property team. Due to an increase in work, this firm is seeking a skilled and ambitious Commercial Property Solicitor to join its growing team. The firm prides itself on high-quality work, a collaborative environment, and a strong reputation in the regional and national markets.

Responsibilities
  • Handle a broad range of high-value and complex commercial property transactions.
  • Manage a caseload including commercial leases/occupiers (grants, surrenders, assignments, LTA 1954 renewals), freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, grants of easements, options, overage, and property finance.
  • Advise on conditional sale agreements, site assembly, ransom strips, sub-station leases, and promotion agreements.
  • Act for landowners in sales to developers, demonstrating knowledge of developer requirements.
  • Maintain and build strong client relationships, working closely with colleagues and external professionals.
  • Provide advice and assistance within the team, fostering knowledge development.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and requirements.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 4+ years PQE in a reputable firm.
  • Strong technical expertise across a range of commercial property matters.
  • Experience managing complex transactions and meeting time and billing targets.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional, organised, competent, and ambitious.
  • Additional experience in agricultural property work is desirable.
