The Commercial Manager will lead the commercial (procurement) management across a diverse portfolio of high-volume, fast-moving projects in building, civil engineering, maintenance and renewal, and critical infrastructure support contracts.

The Commercial Manager will lead commercial (procurement) management across high-volume, fast-moving portfolios in building, civil engineering, maintenance and renewal projects and critical infrastructure support contracts.


Responsibilities


  • Develop commercial (procurement) strategies and support pre-contract activities to ensure projects are set up for success

  • Collaborate with internal teams, understand stakeholder needs, and build strong supplier relationships

  • Navigate multiple projects at various stages, bringing clarity, structure, and momentum

  • Oversee contractor performance under framework agreements, lead contract negotiations and risk/value assessments

  • Guide and develop a high-performing commercial (procurement) team delivering saving and efficiency targets.
