Key Responsibilities
Global Commercial & Marketing Support
- Support the execution of global and regional commercial and marketing plans aligned to corporate objectives, driving sustainable competitive advantage, customer penetration, and retention.
- Assist the Global Marketing Manager and Vice President O&G,A, with analysis, reporting, and insight to support commercial performance and strategic initiatives.
- Support Operating Companies and senior management with commercial intelligence, reporting, and system usage.
- Provide commercial and marketing input to global tenders and proposals when required.
Commercial Best Practice & Brand Governance
- Support the rollout, adoption, and ongoing governance of the Commercial Best Practice Manual across the Group.
- Ensure consistent and appropriate use of the company brand across all regions and materials.
- Act as a guardian of global standards while enabling local market effectiveness.
Market & Competitor Intelligence
- Gather, analyse, and maintain industry, market, and competitor intelligence across regions.
- Monitor competitor positioning, activity, and market trends, translating insight into actionable commercial intelligence for leadership teams.
Systems, Data & Key Functional Areas
CRM (Global Ownership & Enablement)
- Act as the single point of contact for the global CRM system and external suppliers.
- Drive ongoing development, optimisation, and integration of CRM to support global commercial activity, including acquisitions and new operating companies.
- Support global commercial teams in effective system use, adoption, and reporting.
- Own monthly global opportunity and contract tracking for board reporting and leadership reviews.
- Deliver customer and account analysis by country, sector, and customer group to support growth strategies.
Net Promoter Score (NPS) (Global Ownership & Enablement)
- Act as the global owner for the NPS platform and external supplier relationship.
- Support global rollout, governance, and ongoing development of the NPS programme.
- Manage survey execution (three surveys annually), analysis, and reporting of customer satisfaction insights.
Global Key Customer Support
- Provide structured commercial and reporting support for global key accounts and support the Vice President O&G,A, areas covered:
- SLB – Global MSA management, country-level reporting, overdue tracking, and central coordination with customer & internal stakeholders. – aim to reduce Overdue across the global business and improve customer penetration
- Baker Hughes – Global MSA management, country-level structures, and reporting. Aim to reduce Overdue across the global business and improve customer penetration
- TotalEnergies – Support TRS rollout, customer targeting, and country-level analysis.
Market Research & Analytics
- Develop and enhance global market research datasets covering activity levels by location, operator, and segment.
- Transition existing data into live, scalable, and predictive datasets to support proactive decision-making.
- Work with external analytics providers as required to strengthen insight quality and business relevance.
Lead Forensics (Global Ownership & Enablement)
- Manage the external Lead Forensics supplier and ensure maximum ROI from the platform.
- Support global teams in understanding, adopting, and effectively using the system.
- Monitor system usage, access, and reporting;
- Reallocate daily feeds that fall outwith current org structure
Riglogix (Global Ownership & Enablement)
- Manage the external Riglogix supplier relationship.
- Produce and distribute monthly usage, performance, and market insight reports to relevant stakeholders.
Administrative & Reporting Responsibilities (Board report tables)
- Collate and analyse commercial and marketing data for reporting to senior leadership and the Board.
- Maintain accurate records, dashboards, and documentation to support global transparency.
- Undertake general administrative tasks related to commercial and marketing operations.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential / Desirable
- Degree, diploma, or equivalent relevant experience in commercial & marketing
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Advanced IT literacy with the ability to quickly adopt and manage multiple commercial systems.
Advantageous
- Experience with CRM platforms, customer insight tools, or analytics systems.
- Understanding of marketing collateral development and brand governance.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools (desirable, not essential).
