The Company

A fast growing, entrepreneurial media business with leading print, digital and event brands serving the green energy sectors globally, seek a Commercial Manager. Not only will you be joining a dynamic,ambitious and fast moving business which is a leader within one of the fastest growing sectors, but you will be given ownership of the digital advertising and partnerships side of one of their brands.

The Role of Commercial Manager

As Commercial Manager you will take ownership of the digital advertising and partnerships revenue for one of their fast growing brands serving the green energy sector. This specific brand has been overhauled (editorially and commercially) and as suchyou would be leading the new business drive. You will therefore be comfortable taking a new and fresh proposition to market,engaging with clients across all of the clean energy sectors around the new digital advertising/content and partnership opportunities and ultimately securing revenue. Partnerships willnaturally involve all manner of engagement spanning advertising, editorial, events, business intelligence etc.

In the mid-term,the company plans tobuild a department around this individual, but in the short term this role does not have any immediate reports and therefore requires someone who can take this new offering/proposition to market and deliver the results. To begin you will therefore be new business focused (as it's a new position) but you will keep all clients who you win business from, and as such the balance will then shift to a more even split. You will of course also play a key role in driving the strategy.
