A leading recruitment agency is looking for a Commercial Manager to drive sales and commercial performance in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will have strong sales experience within the HGVs, Trucks, or Fleet industries. This role offers a base salary of circa £60,000, + car allowance and a bonus scheme. The successful applicant will collaborate with teams to enhance brand representation and drive customer satisfaction, directly contributing to the company's mission of supporting the UK's green economy.

Commercial Manager (HGVs/Trucks/Fleet)

Based in or commutable to Nottingham. Regular travel across the UK. Circa £60,000 + Car Allowance (£500p/m) + Bonus Scheme + Pension.

Do you have a strong and proven background within Sales and are you looking to play an integral role at an exciting time of growth within a company that is shaping the UK’s greener economy?

This role would suit a Commercial Manager with a strong Sales focus looking to join a company with an excellent culture involved in the UK Government’s Net Zero 2050 targets.

The Role
  • Lead sales and commercial performance. Set and deliver sales plans, forecasts, budgets and contracts, while keeping the Board and leadership team informed on progress.
  • Grow and manage the customers base. Build and manage the sales funnel, onboarding and expansion of clients, key partnerships, outbound and inbound leads, and customer support to drive satisfaction.
  • Collaborate and represent the business. Work closely with all teams and promote the brand and values in all activities.
  • This is predominantly out on the road, meeting with clients or remote work but there will be an expectation to meet in the Nottingham based office so you must be commutable to the office.
The Person
  • Must have proven Sales experience and a strong Commercial Leader.
  • Must have relevant industry experience, this could be any of the following: HGVs, Trucks, Fleet, Logistics.
  • Any knowledge of the Biofuel industry would be a distinct advantage though this is not essential.
  • Looking to join a company with an excellent reputation in the senior management team.
