Commercial Manager – Wokingham / Hybrid – £60,000–£70,000

About the Job

This role will take ownership of commercial contracts across the business, ensuring alignment with legal and regulatory frameworks while supporting effective internal processes. It involves engaging with internal teams and clients, managing risk, improving compliance, and supporting wider business development and supplier activity. You’ll also contribute to commercial governance and documentation standards.

Duties will include:

  • Managing the full lifecycle of commercial contracts in line with policy and regulatory requirements
  • Driving contract compliance through internal and external performance reviews
  • Identifying, mitigating, and monitoring commercial risk and ensuring clear resolution of discrepancies
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure effective communication and shared understanding of commercial obligations
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial terms to protect business interests
  • Supporting bid submissions to ensure compliance with all customer and legal requirements
  • Creating and maintaining internal commercial policies, procedures, and documentation systems
  • Supporting supplier negotiations and flow-down terms
  • Providing commercial advice across departments as required
About the Successful Applicant

You will have proven experience in commercial contracts management, with a solid understanding of procurement processes, relevant legislation, and contractual frameworks. A degree in law, finance, business administration or similar is essential. You are detail-oriented, able to manage multiple contracts simultaneously, and confident when engaging stakeholders across all levels.
