Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Manager to oversee our retail operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing commercial activities. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive sales, enhance customer service, and ensure operational efficiency. The Commercial Manager will be responsible for leading a team, managing inventory, and optimizing store performance while maintaining high standards of merchandising and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Lead and manage daily operations of the retail store, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and controlling inventory levels to maximize profitability.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets while enhancing customer experience.
• Conduct employee orientation, training & development programs to foster a knowledgeable and motivated team.
• Manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy in employee compensation and compliance with labor regulations.
• Supervise staff performance through effective coaching, mentoring, and conducting regular performance evaluations.
• Handle recruiting processes including interviewing potential candidates to build a strong team.
• Maintain effective communication with team members to ensure alignment on goals and expectations.
• Utilize retail math for pricing strategies, budgeting, and financial reporting to optimize store performance.
• Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Experience

The successful candidate will have:
