Job summary

A leading energy infrastructure company is seeking a full-time Commercial Manager for their CAP 25 project. The role involves ensuring contract compliance and working with various teams on budget management and project changes. Candidates should have experience in UK Gas, LNG, and petrochemical projects. This position requires on-site presence in the United Kingdom at least two days per week and is expected to last until the end of July 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience managing contracts and compliance for gas or LNG projects.
• Familiarity with oil and gas projects and petrochemical industries.
• Experience with cryogenic pipelines or gas compression systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure contract and commercial compliance of the Tank project contract.
• Collaborate with Senior Commercial & Contracts Manager on project variations.
• Manage budget updates alongside Finance Cost teams.

Job description

Our Client, National Grid Isle of Grain, are looking for a full-time Commercial Manager on their CAP 25 project to look after their Storage Tank contract. The full time role will run to end of July 2026. Expected at site at least two days per week.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for contract and commercial compliance of the Tank project contract.
• Work with the project Senior Commercial & Contracts Manager on all matters relating to variations, changes to the completion dates, increase in risk provisions, disputes and any matters escalated to the Project Advisory Board.
• Work closely with Purchaser s Finance Cost teams to ensure all budgets are updated and any significant changes identified, articulated and where required reported into the Senior Commercial & Contracts Manager.
• Work closely with the Project Controls team to ensure the nominated contract administration module / processes are managed and complied with.
• Attend the Commercial monthly review meeting where alignment, lessons learnt, consistency and maximising the skills available to deal with any issues across the CAP 25 portfolio will be coordinated.
