Job description

Working as a key member of the Price Comparison team, this role will see the successful candidate working towards managing a day to day relationship of our Price Comparison partners (Compare the Market, Confused.com, MoneySuperMarket, Go.Compare.com, and others) and will be expected to develop joint roadmaps to ensure the long term success of Admiral's customer acquisition abilities through its Price Comparison partnerships.

The Commercial Manager will be supported to develop the relationship and explore commercial opportunities with our partners and will have the chance to identify emerging integration opportunities with market entrants.

Ideally you will be data-driven, organised, collaborative and personable. The successful candidate will be at ease working with internal and external stakeholders at various levels and across various departments (including Product, Pricing, IT, Marketing, Legal and more), as well possessing the ability to challenge partners in respect of their performance. Negotiation of commercial contracts will be necessary, but training and support will be provided throughout.

The Commercial Manager will be expected to secure meaningful and productive relationships, which requires face-to-face contact and external meetings. There will be an expectation to travel within the UK on an ad hoc basis and may involve participation in professional and social networking events.

Main Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain reciprocally beneficial relationships with our Price Comparison partners.
  • Development and deliver strategic joint objectives.
  • Reviewing data with the ability to articulate findings to drive decision making.
  • Create regular partner performance reports for both internal and external consumption.
  • Understand market trading conditions and industry developments.
  • Identify development opportunities with existing partners and emerging market entrants.
  • Close collaboration with Pricing, Product, IT, Marketing, and Legal, amongst other departments.
  • Facilitate technical change.
  • Regular contact with senior stakeholders.
  • Support the handling of information requests and management of risk events.
  • Supporting with the negotiation of commercial and contractual terms, including acquisition costs, acceptable performance metrics, and exclusive arrangements.
  • Supporting with the facilitation, investigation, and resolution of audits
