Job description

This large commercial law firm in London is looking to recruit a Commercial Litigation Solicitor or Barrister of 1 or more years’ PQE/Call. The team is core to the firm’s business and has been identified as a major growth and investment area. They act for a range of clients, including international blue-chip corporates and financial institutions. Due to the nature of their work, Associates are able to work across multiple jurisdictions on high profile matters, often as part of a multi-national, multi-disciplinary team. They conduct disputes in the High Court (including the Commercial Court) and international arbitration under all major institutional rules (including LCIA and ICC) and ad hoc arbitrations.The successful candidate will join this firm’s Corporate Disputes practice in London and will work closely with experienced Partners, Counsel and Associates. You will gain exposure to a broad range of high-quality work including: • Complex contractual disputes • M&A disputes • Joint venture disputes, shareholder disputes and partnership disputes • Civil fraud.

Candidates will have experience of Commercial Litigation and International Arbitration and have theability to draft and manage legal documents such as filings and advice. Enthusiasm, an excellent academic background and a commitment to develop and share technical skills are key. Strong and demonstrable client care skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of an effective team are also important.
