Your Impact

As a Commercial Lead, you’ll take ownership of some of the most significant and complex commercial packages on the project covering civil and nuclear construction works, major equipment, and enabling contracts. You’ll lead procurement, negotiation, and post‑award commercial management, working with suppliers, regulators, and Tier 1 contractors. You’ll play a key leadership role, shaping strategy, mentoring teams, and ensuring delivery aligns with project goals, contract requirements, and nuclear safety standards.

What You’ll Bring
  • Senior‑level experience in commercial or supply chain roles on major infrastructure or energy projects
  • Expertise in procurement and contract management
  • Strong knowledge of NEC and/or FIDIC contracts
  • Chartered status (RICS, ICE, CICES, IOB, CIPS or equivalent)
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Nice‑to‑haves: Degree‑qualified, Experience in nuclear or regulated industries, Understanding of the UK nuclear regulatory environment and supply chain landscape, Familiarity with safety case and licence conditions in nuclear

Join the team at Sizewell C. Our vision is to Lead The Way On Nuclear. The Sizewell C team is one of the most exciting and largest new megaprojects in the UK, at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. We have begun constructing a 3.2‑gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast, replicating, wherever possible, the design used for Hinkley Point C. When built, Sizewell C will generate low‑carbon electricity for at least 60 years, supplying over 6 million homes and supporting around 7% of the UK’s current electricity needs. We are the first nuclear power station in the UK funded under the Regulated Asset Base funding model (RAB). Our largest shareholder is the UK Government, alongside equity partners La Caisse, Centrica, EDF and Amber Infrastructure.

To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will ordinarily require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.
