Superb new role for an ambitious, entrepreneurial commercial lawyer with strong client facing skills to join a small team of four lawyers in this thriving boutique law firm.

With an exciting mix of high profile and / or fast growth clients largely spanning the sports, media, entertainment and fashion sectors, you will be given lot’s of responsibility and direct client involvement.

You will need to be able to work within a team as well as independently on mid-level matters, leading and supervising junior members of the team as required. The role may suit an individual currently working within a larger non-contentious team who has a desire to establish themselves as a key player in a fast-growing area of the firm’s business.

As well as an interesting workload, you will be encouraged to develop business and to help in the growth of the team and the firm as a whole. There may also be secondment opportunities with the firm’s client base as required from time to time.

The team work closely with a number of in-house legal teams, so in‑house experience would be beneficial for any applicant, but is not essential.

You must have excellent legal, technical and soft skills. You will be expected to work proactively on non-contentious matters, with appropriate supervision, and so should be able to demonstrate experience in the drafting and negotiation of contracts.

You will have particular experience in contracts with intellectual property and data protection aspects, for example IP licensing, software, franchising, and data processing agreements. You will be expected to demonstrate an ability to identify relevant intellectual property rights, and ways in which businesses are able to protect, exploit and enforce them.
