Overview

Heating Engineer
Commercial Gas (HVAC Training Provided)
Salary: up to £50,000
Location: West Midlands (occasional travel)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Gas Heating Engineer to join our friendly and professional team in the West Midlands. This full-time role offers a varied workload across a diverse portfolio of clients, including industrial plants, high-end residential developments, and prestigious hotels. This is an ideal role for a commercial gas professional who wants to broaden their skill set into HVAC maintenance. Full training and certifications provided.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair: gas-fired heating plant; commercial boilers and water heaters; chilled water systems (training provided); DX systems (VRV, splits, multi-splits; training provided); HVAC and refrigeration equipment (training provided).
• Carry out reactive repairs and troubleshooting on heating equipment.
• Undertake routine inspections and identify performance or safety issues.
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex system issues and large installations.
• Work remotely and independently while maintaining strong communication with the team.

What Were Looking For

• Proven commercial gas engineering experience.
• Current Gas Safe certification (COCN1, CODNCO1, or equivalent).
• Strong fault-finding skills and technical knowledge.
• A collaborative team player who can also operate independently.
• Full UK driving licence.
• An interest in learning HVAC maintenance and broadening technical skills.
