Commercial Finance Manager Manchester (hybrid) £65,000 - £70,000 + bonus

Robert Walters are representing an acquisitive retail business in their search for a dynamic Commercial Finance Manager to join their high calibre team.

This highly analytical role will involve building strong working relationships with senior divisional team members and a wide variety of stakeholders within Group. You will provide insights into trends and opportunities to drive business performance and growth. This role will focus on revenue generation, efficiency, systems/models, process improvements and cost reduction.

The role:

  • Work with Divisional Directors to drive business performance across the Group.
  • Increase financial awareness to the senior leadership team and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Streamline systems and analysis to better understand reporting, trends and opportunity.
  • Develop multi-year forecasting and operating models and associated scenario planning
  • Ensure operational buy-in, allowing performance management with relevant KPIs.
  • Supporting Divisional Directors in the development and articulation of strategies for future value creation.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and corporate planning cycles.
  • Become a key liaison between finance and the wider business.
  • Align financial systems of new acquisitions.
  • Work on ad-hoc projects and process improvements.
Experience:
  • Fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
  • Previous business partnering and FP&A experience ideally within a complex international organisation.
  • Advanced Excel skills with examples of building models and automation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial information to wider business stakeholders.
  • Confidence to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work within a team environment to achieve team/department objectives.
