Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive financial analysis and reporting to support commercial decision-making processes across multiple business units.
  • Collaborate closely with operational teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans that align with organisational objectives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and deliver regular updates to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities by ensuring accuracy in financial statements and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Identify areas for cost optimisation and efficiency improvements, working collaboratively with stakeholders to implement effective solutions.
  • Assist in the preparation of board reports and presentations, translating complex financial data into clear insights for non-financial audiences.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to both finance and non-finance colleagues, providing guidance on commercial matters and fostering strong interdepartmental relationships.
What the successful candidate will bring
  • Professional accountancy qualification (such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or equivalent experience is highly desirable for this position.
