Employment Type: Permanent

As the UK’s favourite property platform, Rightmove aims to give everyone the belief that they can make their move. To help us achieve this, we’re looking for a Commercial Finance Lead to join our Commercial Finance team.

Are you ready to take the lead in driving revenue for one of Rightmove’s most exciting business units? In this role, you’ll be working alongside P&L owners across our Estate Agency business unit, playing a key part in shaping and executing our revenue strategy.

You’ll have the freedom to take ownership of revenue initiatives from start to finish – whether it’s designing new business opportunities or managing day‑to‑day operations. If you love being hands‑on, solving problems, and bringing people together, this could be the perfect role for you.

What you’ll be doing
  • Owning Revenue Objectives: You’ll be responsible for ensuring we meet our targets, analysing data, managing operations, or developing future strategies.
  • Collaborating with Sales: Partner with the Sales team to manage ongoing operations and execute necessary changes to keep us on track.
  • Tracking Success: Contribute to annual and quarterly revenue planning, building scenarios and financial models to measure and guide our progress.
  • Leading Strategic Projects: From concept to completion, you’ll drive key projects that help grow revenue.
  • Building Relationships: You’ll collaborate with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, Finance, Product, and more to achieve our goals together.
Who you are
  • Experienced Professional: Proven experience in Commercial Finance, Operations, Analytics, Pricing, or Revenue Management, ready to take on new challenges and drive impact.
  • Strategic Problem Solver: Strong background in strategy development, project management, and data analysis, with a proven track record of taking projects from concept to completion.
  • Effective Communicator: Skilled at simplifying complex ideas and presenting them clearly to senior leadership, with the ability to build consensus across teams.
  • Data Expert: Proficient in working with large datasets, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to turn data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.
  • PowerPoint and Excel Pro: Capable of creating clear, impactful presentations that simplify complex information for any audience and building relevant models to justify decisions.
  • Project Manager: Experienced in juggling multiple priorities, delivering on time, and ensuring cross‑functional teams work together seamlessly.
  • Detail‑Oriented: Attentive to every aspect of your role, from customer‑facing tasks to internal operations, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Emotionally Intelligent: A natural collaborator, you build strong relationships with different teams and adapt well to a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Action‑Oriented: You take ownership of your work, tackle challenges head‑on, and consistently drive meaningful results.
About the team

This role sits within our high‑performing Commercial Finance team, reporting to the Estate Agency Revenue Manager. We’re a dynamic and ambitious team, constantly looking for ways to innovate and grow. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to take ownership, make an impact, and grow alongside us.

What’s in it for you
  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Cash plan for dental, optical, and physio treatments.
  • Private Medical Insurance, Pension and Life Insurance, Employee Assistance Plan.
  • 27 days holiday plus two paid volunteering days a year, and holiday buy‑schemes.
  • Hybrid working pattern with 2 days in the office.
  • Contributory stakeholder pension.
  • Life assurance at 4x your basic salary to a spouse, family member or other nominated person.
  • Paid leave for maternity, paternity, adoption and fertility.
  • Travel Loan, Bike to Work scheme, Rental Deposit Loan.
  • Charitable contributions through Payroll Giving and donation matching.
  • Access deals and discounts on travel, electronics, fashion, gym memberships, cinema, and move.
