Our client is seeking a talented Commercial & Corporate Contracts Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join their strong and dynamic corporate and commercial team. Serving both local and national clients, the team prides itself on delivering high-quality, client-focused advice across a wide range of sectors.

The Role:

You will be responsible for handling all aspects of commercial and corporate law, with a particular focus on commercial contract work. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with strong technical expertise to work collaboratively within a supportive team, while also taking ownership of your own work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts, with particular emphasis on IT contracts.
  • Advising clients on commercial and corporate law matters, ensuring their needs are prioritised.
  • Managing contract-related procurement and compliance matters where relevant.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Contributing to business development and client growth initiatives.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Qualified Solicitor or Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (FCILEx).
  • 4–6 years’ experience in commercial contract law.
  • Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating IT contracts (essential).
  • Experience in commercial contract management and procurement (desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client service.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team.
