Overview

Commercial Contracts Manager – Manufacturing & Engineering

£60k - £70k base + 10% Bonus + Extensive benefits and package.

4 days in the office, 1 day at home per week.

GMA are delighted to be working in partnership with the market leader in the field combustion technology, recognised for delivering environmentally responsible and technically advanced solutions.

As a manufacturing business, they design, and service high-performance incineration equipment trusted in over 20 countries around the world. With over 140 years of engineering expertise and a commitment to continuous improvement, they are proud to set the standard in in this field.

Due to global expansion through not organics and acquisitive growth, they now seek a Commercial Contracts Manager to join their senior leadership team here in the UK.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer you will be responsible for

  • Providing commercial and contractual expertise across both Service and Project engineering areas of the business
  • Full contract file ownership, proactive renewals, development and maintenance of templates, and negotiation of contractual terms with customers and suppliers (globally)
  • Being the central owner of contractual terms and conditions across the business, ensuring consistency, compliance, and risk mitigation
  • Supporting international markets (initially Australia and New Zealand, with potential expansion into other regions)
  • Full ownership all terms and conditions of service and project contracts, providing commercial support across business units for all contractual purchases.

This is a superb opportunity where you will have strategic input into the commercial/contract activities of the business.

The business is in growth mode in the UK and internationally, giving you an opportunity to grow the commercial department through building a team that will support and underpin the growth.

The Candidate

Ideally you will be

  • Commutable to West Yorkshire
  • Have worked for a manufacturer or engineering business
  • Have had previous experience of commercial or customer contract management in relation to service agreements (LTSA’s or service agreements) or contracts in relation to engineering projects.
  • Someone who is motivated and driven to want to build a career and be part of a growing business.
  • Someone who is entrepreneurial and innovative in their approach
