I am currently working with a client who is hiring for a Commercial Catering Equipment Engineer covering the Lincolnshire / Nottinghamshire area.

The Role

This is a field-based position working across a varied client base including hospitality, education, healthcare and commercial kitchen environments. The role will involve the service, maintenance, installation and repair of commercial catering equipment. Engineers from a domestic background are welcomed, as full commercial training can be provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • A range of commercial catering equipment (gas and electrical).
  • Install and commission new equipment.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
  • Attend breakdowns and emergency call-outs.
  • Complete service reports and job documentation accurately.
  • Deliver excellent customer service on site.
  • Cover the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire region.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience as a commercial or domestic appliance engineer.
  • Strong fault‑finding skills (gas and/or electrical).
  • Willingness to train into commercial catering equipment if from a domestic background.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage workload.
Package
  • Salary: £33,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.
  • Full commercial training and development provided.
