This is an excellent opportunity for a Building Surveyor seeking a varied role with strong project exposure and long-term career development.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver commercial building surveying services across a range of projects, including refurbishment, maintenance, and new-build works
• Undertake building surveys, condition surveys, and dilapidations
• Prepare specifications, schedules of works, and technical reports
• Manage projects from inception through to completion, ensuring quality, programme, and cost control
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure effective project delivery
• Provide professional advice on building defects, compliance, and maintenance strategies
• Ensure works comply with building regulations, health & safety, and industry standards

Requirements

• Experience working as a Building Surveyor within a commercial or construction environment
• Background in commercial property, refurbishment, or project-led surveying
• Strong technical knowledge of building construction, defects, and compliance
• Ability to manage projects and workloads independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• MRICS or working towards chartership is desirable but not essential
