Position: College Lecturer

Location: Wandsworth, SW12, London

Start Date: Monday, 29th September

Salary: Competitive, paid to scale

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Full-Time

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic College Lecturer to join our academic team in Wandsworth, London. The successful candidate will possess a strong passion for teaching and a desire to contribute to the intellectual and personal development of our students.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging course material across a variety of subjects within your discipline.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through marked assignments, exams, and other activities.
  • Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students, supporting their academic achievements and career aspirations.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enhancement to ensure delivery of high-quality education.
  • Keep abreast of current advancements in the subject area and integrate relevant findings into the curriculum.
  • Maintain regular office hours to assist students and address their concerns.
Requirements
  • A Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field is required, with a PhD preferred.
  • Solid experience in a classroom setting with evidence of successful teaching strategies and student engagement.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty members and administrative staff.
