This position is to cover maternity leave for a period of 9 months.
This is a hybrid working position and will require the post holder to work in person with patients in our Truro and Falmouth bases as well as some time working remotely from home.
Post holders will work in the NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Talking Therapies service and provide high intensity cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to service users who have a range of complex anxiety and depression related problems. The role will include providing specialist CBT assessment and therapy, offer advice and consultation on clients' psychological care to colleagues, work to NICE recommendations and within British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) professional guidelines.
Post holders will have a Post Graduate Diploma level qualification in Psychological Therapies Practice (High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) or equivalent, significant experience working as a psychological therapy practitioner and demonstrating the competencies required, BABCP accreditation or eligibility for BABCP accreditation.
