We're currently recruiting a driven Coffee Shop Supervisor to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for Restaurant Associates on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week. As a Coffee Shop Supervisor, you will use your skills to deliver first‑class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Team leadership and training:
    • Lead and mentor the barista team to ensure consistent quality and excellent service.
    • Train new baristas on proper preparation techniques, customer service, and store policies.
    • Coach and develop the team, conduct regular upskilling, and support their professional growth.
  • Quality control:
    • Ensure all drinks are prepared to the highest standard, following recipes and presentation techniques.
    • Monitor and calibrate equipment and maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
    • Conduct quality assessments and ensure compliance with brand standards.
  • Customer service:
    • Provide an exceptional customer experience through engaging and friendly interactions.
    • Resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly.
    • Educate customers on coffee offerings to help them find and enjoy new beverages.
    • Managing queues and speed, quality of the service.
  • Operational management:
    • Manage daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
    • Oversee inventory, manage stock levels, and minimize waste.
    • Ensure accurate transactions are processed on kiosk and online app system.
    • Contribute to scheduling and managing shift coverage.
  • Leadership and brand representation:
    • Serve as a role model for the team, embodying company values and passion for coffee.
    • Actively work to improve the overall café experience through various means.
    • Collaborate with management to evolve the coffee offering and guest experience.
