Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve high‑quality coffees, teas, and other beverages to staff and students.
• Support the preparation and service of light snacks, sandwiches, and pastries.
• Operate till and handle cash/card transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food preparation and service areas.
• Assist with stock rotation, deliveries, and general kitchen duties antwoorden.
• Ensure compliance with all food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety procedures.
• Work as part of a small, friendly team in a busy environment.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in a similar capacity/front‑of‑house/F&B setting, ideally in a coffee shop/cafe.
• Strong customer‑service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain standards under pressure.
• Understanding of allergen management and safe food handling.

Desirable/Additional:

• Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering (CIEH / RSPH / Highfield) – essential
• Basic Health & Safety Awareness – desirable but not mandatory (understanding of COSHH, manual handling, and workplace safety procedures).
• Allergen Awareness Training – ideally, candidates should have completed online or in‑person training in line with Natasha’s Law requirements for food labelling.
