Qualifications

Job description

Oakley Coachbuilders have a vacancy for a skilled/ semi-skilled coachbuilder at their family-run luxury horsebox manufacturing business at their Attleborough branch. An interest in the manufacturing and engineering automotive industry is key.

The successful applicant will have some experience in the following:

  • Working with a range of air, power and hand tools.
  • Working with a range of materials: stainless steel, fibreglass, aluminium, ply hardwood and softwood.
  • Metal fabrication.
  • Wood work.
  • Welding experience is advantageous.

The successful applicant will be highly motivated and ideally have experience in the manufacture and fabrication of vehicles/ motorhomes/ horseboxes. You will be required to work to a high standard therefore an eye for quality and attention to detail will be essential.

You should have the following key skills:

  • Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of craftsmanship.
  • Experience working independently, and collectively within a wider team.
  • Excellent time keeping.
  • Willingness to learn is key but full training will be given.

A competitive rate of pay will be awarded dependent on experience. Monday-Friday (40 hours per week) with opportunities for overtime as required.
