Are you an Apprentice Trained, Experienced CNC Turner who takes pride in producing high-quality, precision-engineered components? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, hands‑on environment where craftsmanship meets cutting‑edge technology? If so, we would like to hear from you! We require CNC Turners to work on a permanent basis for various clients across Plymouth. If you would like to work for a business that puts people at the heart of its culture these are the opportunities for you!

What You’ll Do:
  • Set, operate, and program CNC lathes to produce high‑quality precision parts.
  • Work from detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds to achieve optimum performance.
  • Inspect and verify finished components using precision measuring equipment.
  • Maintain machine performance and ensure consistent quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other engineering departments towards Continuous Improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Recognised Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience as a CNC Turner (Ideally with Fanuc and/or Mazak).
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances.
  • An excellent eye for detail and commitment to producing first‑class work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high‑performing team.
  • A passion for precision and pride in craftsmanship.

The clients we’re working with run 24/7 facilities therefore all of these positions are working weekly rotating shift patterns comprising of days and late shifts.
