We are seeking a CNC SETTER / OPERATOR to join our growing team.

This role focuses on the safe and efficient operation of Matsuura CNC machining centres. No programming skills required. We are simply looking for someone confident in setting, operating and maintaining smooth production from existing programs.

You will be joining a very friendly, supportive team, where you will have a great opportunity to be part of, and enjoy long term career opportunities, with development offered to the right person.

Commutable from Wolverhampton, Walsall, Burntwood, Willenhall, Wednesbury, Aldridge, Feathersone, Essington, Bloxwich, West Bromwich, Bilston, Brownhills and Great Barr

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate Matsuura CNC machines using existing programs
• Load/unload components and ensure accurate part alignment
• Conduct tool changes and machine adjustments as required!
• Perform quality checks using measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
• Monitor production runs to maintain output and quality standards
• Adhere to health & safety and maintain a clean working environment
• Report any machine issues or deviations to the supervisor

About You

• Previous experience as a CNC Setter/Operator
• Strong hands‑on experience with Matsuura machining centres
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Good eye for detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work well as part of a team
• No programming experience required
