CNC Turner - Programmer/Setter/Operator (Fanuc Controls)

Day Shift: 08:00 - 16:30

About the Role

Actio Recruitment is seeking a skilled CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator to join a precision engineering business. This is a day‑shift position offering stability working on Fanuc‑controlled lathes.

Key Responsibilities

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to produce high‑quality components
• Ensuring parts are manufactured to tight tolerances and customer specifications
• Conducting first‑off inspections and maintaining quality standards throughout production
• Performing routine machine maintenance and adhering to health & safety procedures

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner with programming and setting skills
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc control systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Competence in reading technical drawings and using precision measuring equipment
• A proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement

Working Hours

• Day shift: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30
• Overtime opportunities available
