Job description

Permanent CNC Operator vacancy available in Pudsey, offering flexible working hours, £100 monthly bonus, various annual bonuses, 34 holidays and various health & wellbeing perks.

This globally operating engineering organization currently employs close to 4,000 people in 75 different countries across the world. Since their establishment over 80 years ago, they have become a critical supply chain partner to a number of quality critical industries, including Aerospace, Automotive and Life Sciences.

Their Leeds facility currently employs around 60 people and is a centre of excellence for manufacturing within their European group network. Following some recent investment & growth, this employer is now actively searching for a CNC Operator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Working as part of an Engineering team, responsible for producing precision machined components
• Setting up and operating a variety of different XYZ & Mazak Lathes
• Making basic edits & adjustments to programs; adjusting tooling offsets etc.
• Using manual measuring instruments (micrometers predominantly) to ensure that components meet customer specifications

Working Hours of the CNC Operator

37 Per week, with options to work a number of different shifts:

• Option 1: Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30 / Friday 08:00 to 13:00
• Option 2: Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:30 / Friday 07:00 to 12:00
• Option 3: Monday to Thursday 06:00 to 14:00 / Friday 06:00 to 12:30
• Option 4: Monday to Thursday 14:00 to 23:45 (25% shift allowance)
• Option 5: Weekly rotation of option 3 & 4 (25% shift allowance on every PM shift)

In return, the CNC Operator will receive

• Annual Salary: Up to £35,684.81 – depending on experience and shift pattern
• Monthly Attendance Bonus: £100.00 – Must be on time everyday with no sickness during the month

• Annual Profit Share & Loyalty Bonus – eligible after 2 years’ service (£1,500.00 average profit share & £42 per year for every year worked loyalty bonus)
