Job summary

A reputable manufacturing business in Leatherhead is seeking a CNC Miller/Programmer to program, set, and run CNC milling machines. The ideal candidate has proven experience with CNC operations and attention to detail to maintain high quality. This role offers a salary of £38,000 – £45,000 per annum, alongside excellent benefits including 25 days’ holiday and a generous pension scheme.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working as a CNC Miller, ideally with Fanuc controls.
  • Experience with Cimco and/or Alphacam is beneficial but not essential.
  • Able to work to tight tolerances and maintain high quality standards.

  • Approve programs using Cimco.
  • Support R&D with prototyping and development work.

We’re recruiting for a CNC Miller / CNC Programmer / CNC Operator to join a well-established, reputable manufacturing business based in Leatherhead.

The Role – CNC Miller / Programmer
  • Program, set and run 3 to 5 axis CNC milling machines
  • Approve programs using Cimco
  • Support R&D with prototyping and development work
  • Drive Continuous Improvement across production processes
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Ensure precision, accuracy and quality of all components
Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience working as a CNC Miller, ideally with Fanuc controls
  • Experience with Cimco and / or Alphacam is beneficial but not essential
  • Able to work to tight tolerances and maintain high quality standards
  • Strong attention to detail and able to meet deadlinesConfident working both independently and as part of a team
Pay & Benefits
  • £38,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

  • Mon-Friday 8-4pm
