What you will be doing, as a CNC Miller

  • Running a twin pallet CNC Milling machining centre with Heidenhain control
  • Online programming at the machine, following and editing programs when needed, and programming from scratch is desirable
  • Setting, proving out, and machining complex parts to tight tolerances
  • Reading and questioning drawings, then choosing sensible tooling
  • In process checks with the usual gauges, recording what matters and cracking on
  • Working with production and quality, communicating early so jobs stay on track

What you will need as a CNC Miller

  • Heidenhain control experience that you can talk through confidently
  • Around 10 years in precision engineering, or the equivalent depth of skill
  • Strong drawing interpretation, sound machining principles, and tidy habits
