Overview
CNC Miller required to join a well-established precision engineering firm based in the Hemel Hempstead area. Our client specialise in manufacture of high quality components supplying industries including Aerospace, Motorsport and Defence.
Responsibilities
- Setting and Operating a range of CNC Mills
- Ensuring health and safety standards are met.
- Reporting to the Team Leader on shift.
- Reducing waste where possible to improve overall efficiency.
- Reading engineering drawings
- Work effectively as part of a team implementing company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Experience with CNC Milling machines - Setting and Operating
- Heidenhain Controls experience is advantageous, but not essential
- Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings.
- Be able to set a standard of cleanliness and maintain it in your working area.
- Tools, Jigs and Fixtures are set up correctly and adhere with company standards.
- Based in a commutable distance of Hemel Hempstead
- Full UK Driving License
Salary & Benefits
- Full time - Permanent
- Salary - £15 - £18 per hour (DOE)
- 28 days' holiday including bank holidays
- Monday to Friday, 40 hour flexible working week
- Overtime available (at time and a half)
- Pension
