Job summary

A well-established engineering company in Ashton Keynes is seeking a Skilled Engineering Machinist / CNC Engineer. You will work on 3, 4 & 5 axis bed mills and make bespoke components primarily from non-ferrous materials. Previous experience in a similar role is essential, and the ability to operate various conventional machine tools would be beneficial. Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar Skilled Machinist role.
• Experience of using 3 axis SMX & DPM bed mills using Proto Track AGE 3 & SMX0 controls.
• Experience on 4 & 5 Brother Machining Centres is highly desirable.
• Ability to make turned parts on conventional lathes is an advantage.
• Ability to operate conventional machine tools such as pillar drills and surface grinders is beneficial.
• Ability to work accurately with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Make components on 3, 4 & 5 axis bed mills with conversational programming.
• Make turned parts on conventional lathes and operate other machine tools.
• Join a small team making bespoke parts for special purpose machines.
