Overview

We are actively seeking an experienced and professional CNC Machinery & Equipment Technical Support Engineer to join the team in Warwickshire. The successful applicant will carry out installations, service and breakdown requests, deliver first-class customer care and positively represent the ETG brand at all times. Development and training opportunities will be available.

Responsibilities

• Communicate positively and efficiently with the Service Desk.
• Visit customer sites to install, service and repair machines.
• Leave jobs in full working order and liaise with customers.
• Familiarise yourself with customer rules and working practices, including their health and safety policies, at customer sites.
• Provide feedback to the Service Desk on problems/issues observed on site.
• As required by the job/customer, there may be a requirement to lodge away from home.

Requirements

• Ability to install, service and repair CNC machines and equipment.
• Ability to fault find, diagnose and correct errors on CNC machine tools.
• Ability to assemble, set up and dismantle hydraulic, pneumatic and large mechanical assemblies.
• Team player with the ability to work on own initiative and problem solve.
• Knowledge of part identification and understanding of engineering drawings.
• Mechanical and electrical qualifications/experience.
• PLC knowledge.
• Excellent customer service, communication and organisational skills.
• PC literate.
• Previous experience as part of a service team is essential.
