Now, we’re looking for a Club General Manager (CGM) for our thriving club in Aspley. This is your chance to set the standard, build a team from the ground up, and create a culture of excellence and energy from day one.

The Role:

As Club General Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the success of the club. You’ll oversee performance, operations, and member experience – creating a thriving environment that delivers results, inspires members, and grows an engaged community. Working closely with our Executive Team, Regional Performance Managers, and Directors, you’ll be empowered to shape the future of your club.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Launch and lead a brand‑new club, setting the tone for culture, performance, and community.
  • \
  • Manage budgets, financials, and retention strategies to deliver strong growth and success.
  • \
  • Oversee operations across all areas – including Crèche, Retail & Apparel, and Café.
  • \
  • Recruit, train, and inspire a high‑performing team from the ground up.
  • \
  • Mentor and motivate department heads through weekly meetings and ongoing coaching.
  • \
  • Ensure our world‑class facilities are maintained to the highest standard.
  • \
  • Lead club events and initiatives – from Open Days to 8‑Week Challenges – that build energy and connection.
  • \
  • Deliver clear reporting, analysis, and communication to drive continuous improvement.
  • \

  • Proven leadership in a large “Big Box” gym (20+ staff, 2,000+ members).

  • Experience working in a KPI‑driven environment, with a natural drive to exceed targets.

  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willingness to obtain).
